Powerful 2-1/2 HP Motor The SDT-35XL is equipped with a powerful, water-resistant 2-1/2 HP direct-drive motor for maximum performance on handling large, thick natural stones, due to its generous supply of torque.
Easy-To-Carry Carrying handles mounted on the corners make it easy to quickly transport the saw to other job sites.
Water Pump The water pump conveys water from a hanging 20-liter bucket directly to the diamond blade. The bucket collects filtered water, which prevents damages to the pump from cutting debris. It also doubles as a convenient means for replenishing the water supply.
Slide-In-Legs The saw includes a set of sturdy slide-in-legs that allow the saw to be easily set up at the job site.
Rear & Side Splash Guards Splash guards reduce water spray to prevent the loss of water cooling during operation and to keep the work site clean.
Blade Guard With Brushes The blade guard contains brushes that not only minimize spray, but they also uniformly distribute the water over the blade for more effective cooling.
Rubber Matted Cutting Table The easily removable cutting table is covered with an anti-skid rubber coating, which allows the material being cut to sit still on the table while the cutting head is pulled through it.
Plunge Cutting Capability The cutting head offers a large vertical clearance that not only makes it capable of cutting at various depths, but it also allows the operator to perform deep plunge cuts with ease.
Reinforced Miter Cutting Capability The saw can perform miter cuts easily by pivoting the rail 45°, which negates the need for additional tools. Due to the saw's weight and large dimensions, additional reinforcing posts are used to provide added stability during cutting operations.
Carriage-Rail System The cutting head sits on a carriage that travels along a steel rail for the entire length of the saw. This arrangement maximizes its cutting capacity while providing a large cutting surface. When desired, the rail can be tilted 45° for miter cutting.
Thermal Overload Protection Automatic thermal overload protection prevents the motor from overheating and protects the saw from power surges.
Water Drainage A drainage pipe at the rear end of the saw filters the debri from the water produced during cutting operation. Debri settles in the water tray while the water is allowed to pass through the pipe and into the water bucket, where fresh and filtered water reside.
